The group welcomes the joining of Wajahat Yusuf Sayyed, a first-year M.S. student in Chemical Engineering, and Nathan Johnson, a sophomore student who dual majors in Paper Science & Engineering and Chemical Engineering. They will work on customized projects that fit their interests and development goals.

First Two Graduate Students Joined
The group had its first batch of graduate students on December 7, 2022 — Moritz Woelk, who obtained his B.S. from University of Delaware, and Cormak L. Weeks from Texas Tech. Moritz will be advised by Dr. Wentao Tang solely, and Cormak will be co-advised with Dr. Lilian C. Hsiao.
